Oh So Cruel

We don’t have much time left
On the hourglass
The curse was never one to be lifted
Fate it was oh so cruel
I run
As fast as my legs can push me
The burning midday sun was beating me down
I reminisce all of the missed opportunities
I’m glad it never happened
But all of the times,
That I could have said
That I once loved you
That I am sorry
The words couldn’t leave my throat
When you vanish into a million particles of glow
Into the dawn of light
And I just sit there
In a daze
And I was okay
And I knew
Somehow
You were too
And somehow I know
You knew and
You were sorry too

Especially like “ When you vanish into a million particles of glow”—Strange how there is so much talking and yet important things are often left unsaid…I think too that, it is unsaid, yet known.
