Oh Santa

Oh Santa, my only Christmas wish would be...
Truly if their is reincarnation...
bring me back as the Christmas turkey!

The only thing everyone can agree on.

Well...except for Mom...
she slaves the day away preparing this wonderful meal.
Maybe bring some help her way.

Then everyone will have a truly joyous day.
You know Santa...
it was never meant to be this way.

Santa, Christmas is for little children...
what happened to us?

Has the human race gone nuts?
Christmas should never get you in a rut.

We should spend time together,
give each other a hug, not tear at each other.

Mom is just glad to be here this Christmas day.
Please put joy in the hearts today.

They can be unhappy tomorrow...
as for Mom, it's just another day borrowed.

Santa thanks for all the wonderful memories.
Hope in all their eyes, happiness they will see.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have five grandkids now, so it's even more fun. Was terrfic with my three kids when they were growing up and Santa filled their stocking. Good read. I also believe in reincarnation. June Ellen

It sounds like you're very considerate of your mother's labors, Judy. And I had a great laugh thinking of you wishing to come back as the Christmas Turkey. Nice work. Merry Christmas! Carolyn

A truly great Holiday piece Judy. If there's any truth with reincarnation, hopefully you'll be reincarnated as The Christmas Turkey. Best Wishes Always, Bill - Soup Mail
