Notes About The Poem

(NOTE: this poem was inspired by an actual experience--and a poetic version of a short story I posted)

Oh No

Oh no! OhhhhhhhhNoooooooooo! OOOOOOOOhhhNNNNNNNoooo!
he moans on a seedy red bus in the City of Oaks stuffed with wounded weary passengers sitting on grimy seats trudging along wet cratered roads towards a decaying stained shopping mall parking deck (exhaling trails of rotting smoke)
NoooooooooooooooooooooooooooN! OooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhH! AhhhhhhhhhhhhhhH!
persistently screams the raging passenger in his own private hell inflicting his horrors on fellow travelers who hope to survive their cacophonous bumpy journey to a semi-terminal stop (& reprieve from mobile terror)
