Oh My Friend

The dale sings back those echoes sent
Oh memories dry my tears
Ring back to me the good times lent
Those warm those carefree years

Now I lean in shadows there
where you can’t see I cry
oh friend I hide my deep despair
To keep your spirits high

Do you mind if I pretend
Pretend I still can hear
Another echo the dale ascend
My friend, my friend so dear!
