Oh, Mother

Oh, Mother. Daddy went early,
But you stayed a good while longer.

Oh Mother. I have often wondered
Over the years that if Daddy had tasted
Longevity, would I have been stronger?

Oh, Mother. In reality, you made me strong;
Encouraging me to steer away from the wrong.
