Oh Lightening Bug

Little stars on earth.
Come out and play
fill out the night with your light
Dancing with you; what a sight!

You glow
As does my smile
together we shall relish in this moment for awhile
Land in my hand!

I sit in the damp grass
I watch you flicker as you pass
My my what a wonderful scene
I arise dust my hands; make sure they're clean.

I run after you,
catching you in my palm
cupping my hand. I watch you glow, i feel so calm
I smile.

Light in my hand
Beckon of my childhood
And here I've stood, recovering lost memories with you
And all you want to do...

Is be free.
Just like me..
