Oh How I Miss You

I hope they both return I miss caycay too. i will mail her and see what's going on... I guess life issues take hold and family is far more important than soup:-( hugs jan xx

I wish we could turn back time Armand and go back to the fun we used to have. Things change and not always for the better The environment then was much more a safe haven for many of us than it is now and its sad to see so many no longer on soup:-( hugs jan xx

Thanks Michael - he always used to say he was proud of me with the way i had taken to writing (I was a total novice when I joined soup in fact I hated poetry at school and it wasn't until my hubby had cancer surgery in 2013 that started to write) I am sure he would smile if he saw me write a Sedoka about him, its only the second time I've written this form:-) hugs Jan xx

We shared a silly sense of humour andhad such fun writing Agnes :-) His poetry is still on his pages as is our Jadazzle account and I recently saw his name on someone's favourite poets list and the person who favourited him is a relatively new member:-) hugs jan xx

Thanks Harry, I used to have such fun writing with Darren we were amazing friends which lead some people to think there was more to Jadazzle that just poetry which really made us giggle and so it spurred us on to write even more lol:-) hugs jan xx

I don't know Tim, his last poem posted on his page was a real change in direction to his usual style I just hope he is ok and i have wonderful memories of the fun we used to have when we wrote our poems:-) I was looking through another poet's favourite poets list and saw his name on the list which made me smile as she joined in 2016 and he's not been active since 2015 so its great his poems are still being appreciated as you say he was a great poet and I learned so much writing with him... he would often say how proud he was of me which spurred me on with my writing:-) hugs Jan xx

Our poems will always be there Charlie it was a wonderful time for me as a new poet and Darren took me under his wing and I flourished so much in so many aspects of my life and i loved him as a very special friend:-) hugs Jan xx

We started an epic poem about the isle of Man TT races and there is another one about Cinderella and the ugly sisters. they will never get finished:-( hugs jan xx

It makes me sad but when i read out poems and poems on his page it makes me smile as we had such fun together:-0 hugs jan xx

We became such close friends Russell and the e mails would fly between us and at one time we had 16 different emails on different subjects to respond to in one day it was crazy lol - The first stanza in our initial collaboration had changes but after only about 6 words were altered in about 30 poems. We were on the same wavelength and collaborating with him was a joy and I will never find anyone to replace him as a collaborative partner:-) hugs jan xx
