Oh How I Miss You

The house feels hollow,
The only sound: my footsteps –
You took the laughter with you.
Minutes drip slowly –
The specter of loneliness
Stares at me with greedy eyes.

WoW! This is excellent. Really descriptive and super emotion. That's exactly what lonliness feels like. A winner for sure. God Bless and good luck. JB Been off line for awhile due to health problems. Good to be back. :)

It is funny how that happens. We are more than a thing. We are a body with a soul. We feel the absence. <3 Kim
