Go Away Yesterday
Yesterday, as you spoke, I shed a tear,
for I was frightened of what I would hear:
the emotions I felt were dread and fear.
Oh, go away yesterday!
You once swore destiny had chosen us;
yet now you have doubts, we need to discuss:
what was to be eternal ended thus.
Oh, go away yesterday!
Yesterday marked the end of forever,
a trusted bond that you chose to sever:
and tomorrow, you'll be gone, wherever.
Oh, go away yesterday!
An emptiness drains the hope from my heart
whereas all my dreams and wishes depart:
and I cry, for my love tore me apart.
Oh, go away yesterday!
