Many of these lines are fragments of Becca's poetry. I used her beautiful phrases to create my letter in verse to her.
Dear Becca, I am sending you,
this letter in verse from my soul,
giving you a piece of my heart.
Why wrap your poems up,
all the lovely fragments,
all the layers of beauty penned,
that soothed the heartbroken?
Are the winds blowing you relentlessly?
You have poured out your words like rain,
built up others, whispering kind words.
I whisper to you now, please stay,
gently, I want to convince you,
that endless storms come and go,
inflated egos and twisted images,
those with evil souls cannot touch beauty.
