Og Makes a Horrendous Mistake

When grunts and growls turned into speech
Men, only to other males, the way would teach

All the women would just silently obey
Because not a single word could they say

So all was peaceful for a long while
Women would simply nod and smile

Their mates never tried to dominate
Such a world the men did highly rate

Then Og made a far-reaching goof
Of his folly we still have the proof

To his mate, speech instruction gave
He became forever reviled as a knave
