Offerings of Warmth
A tenderness he expresses through everyday exchange; he finds comfort in the warmth of the familiar.
While waiting in the house of walls,
she lets her guard down to soothe his worries.
Their seeds lean on guidance;
only his thoughtful ways provide.
She basks in his patience,
a trait she always lacked.
A future pointed to growth;
she clears the way for him to see.
With offerings of warmth,
she does not hold back.
He provides a blanket of peace
that is irreplaceable.
