Off To Sleep Again
On the ivories there are ebony themes
But first the lass learns her musical abc's
She's playing a rhapsody in her dreams
As she falls asleep on the keys
On an enchanted melody she rests
As a song floats on a passing cloud
She is on a musical quest
To play those notes and do them proud
When she awakens she'll make the keys chime
By playing "Mary had a little lamb"
It is her favorite nursery rhyme
A lovely little ditty on the baby gran'
She plays that tune every now and then
And then back to sleep she goes again
