does it really count if we're in the wrong line? lousy choices get no discount only angles which won't align drifting off course placing bets on the wrong horse a singer singing out of tune trumpet solo played on bassoon ahead of my time always swimming upstream now gone well past prime caught up in the wrong dream expectations turn to strife hope is unable to refresh living someone else’s life the gears aren’t going to mesh spending dollars and cents in a wasteland of digital currency remaining in the past tense when I should have bought a warranty strumming a song in the key of G had it all wrong the tune was in C I turned left when the world went right to reality cleft when virtuality reached its height unpopular decision followed by unpopular decision trumpet solo played on bassoon constantly out of tune truth shall always surmount popularity’s flash and shine does it really count if we're in the wrong line?
