Of Love

A sacred secretion wells up in the deepest of depths. Hearts melt at the mere pronunciation of the word love. Circumscribing human strengths and weaknesses at all lengths Love permeates the earth and the highest heavens above. Sympathy, empathy, companionship, consummation Eros, Philia, Storage, and Agape... all encompass The core of love—that's the true universe of compassion Within which the rhythms of the sun, moon, and stars come to pass It's not my will, but the will of the other dominates. In love, ego is erased, like a dewdrop by the sun. The weakest of weakness, love within it accommodates Neither one is great nor one is smaller than anyone. Each little petal peeled from acts of love is marvellous. Lawless can be love's laws, yet they are never barbarous.

a powerful sonnet with some awesome imagery. I loved 'nor one is smaller than anyone. Reminds me of the verse that goes something like this "All creatures great and small, the Lord God made them all." An impressive write!
