Of Life and It's Fever

Of Life and It's Fever

It's only a frog's step away--
Such a leap forward,
As put forth by a disciple of motion.
Yet the earth spins

Let there be no distraction this day:
No clouds to obscure the sun--
or the brain.
The partners dance on and on.

How freely they stomp and step!
How loosely they spin!
There is rhythm in unexpected places,
And the earth spins.

Frogs follow the cycle of life;
We would emulate them if we could.
But for us there is only an arrow
Which drives through day and night,

Eating up the years with passion
And pride. Thus is the dance,
Thus is the rivet in the wall.
Thus is gladness and gloom.

Good reflection on the more direct time line of humans. Our evolution must be inward, and not a physical cycle but the result might be the same:-)
