Of Infinity

Each year, as I grow older Not wiser, certainly But more informed and grounded By what it means to me I ponder my new knowledge My new philosophy Of riches I can plunder In my discovery To care is my great purpose In measures to succeed For happiness may service A hungry inner need We grow by certain choices That make our spirits strong To break the chains of habit That drag our souls along The wiser part is proving What others leave to fate When actions we are choosing Rebound to make us great The joy we get from caring Increases day to day Until we find that happily Our lives persist that way The glory of our joyfulness Is what we hope to share The promise of a better life Is why we ought to care The story of infinity Is told by those above The visions of a joyful life Reflect a greater love. Thank you, Gershon, for being the first (and only) reader to make a comment. I appreciate you reading my poems. I do try hard to reward my readers with something worthwhile. Have a great day (and night.) Bryan
