Of Course I Love It Who Would Not

Gorgeous Christmas sweater.
Festive balls tickle me
In a tender, delicate place!
Kiss. Kiss. Smack. Smack. Love it!

Looks like me?
Was it the fat Christmas elf
with the crossed eyes?
The red and purple hair?
The tattooed chin?
Of course I love it!
Who would not?
It is perfection.

Re-gift? No! don’t be silly.
This is cherished.
You spent a wallet full.
Wal-mart or Target?
Is there a gift receipt
To ward off sizing mishaps?

Struggle. Struggle. Stretch.
A bit tight, but it might give.
A gift receipt just in case?"
No. I love it! Who wouldn't?

Yeah, we try to be polite and like it but there are times when we really give ourselves away. Good one.

At school it is a joke to see how fast the parents who run in for the bag of 75 presents bought by the staff for their children will ask for the RECEIPTS and how hard and fast their faces fall when we say we do not have any.
