Odyssey

I never felt like I belonged
Always searching, walking a never ending journey
But then one day I woke up
Started to listen to my heart, feel it's beat
For the first time I took notice of all that was around me
I saw oceans so blue
Mountains so high
Even hugged a tree in the lush rainforrest
For the first time I felt the wind on my skin
I smelt the aroma's in the air
Where had I'd been
As I twirled like a little girl under the warmth of the rain
I laughed open heartedly
I couldn't believe just how incredible life on earth was
How my soul felt so alive
Now I know where I belong & my odyssey has now begun..

Was it a moment of inspiration or a spark of insanity that brought you from the shadows. Reading this poem makes me think the answer to the other question I asked was no, but maybe there is a duality. I guess more reading is required.

All about awakening Wayland, little things we take for granted & don't realise walking a path in life that is fake, only to then one day wake up & see & feel where you have been all along! So then you start a new odyssey! Thank you for you visit & your feedback truly means alot :)
