Ode To the World's Queen

Never misstepped
    never misspoke
  Her bearing impeccable
    equilibrium evoked

  Adored by her subjects
    bewigged barrister... blimy bloke
  Tears flood the world's heart
    its queen's not awoke

Nicely written Gershon. Not a big fan of but any death is sad...

You got that about right, Gershon. I fear the day we will be headed by any old bloke with enough cash to run his election campaign (or her). I mean, our new King has been on a 73 year apprenticeship… beat that, Mr Branson!

I think Charley boy will do alright. Hope they don't phase him out for William too fast...

Spot on Gershon, she never put a foot wrong or said the wrong thing, unlike Phillip who had a habit of saying the wrong thing lol. Tom

She was remarkable! As if her role was scripted just for her. :) gw

Most of us will miss her, certainly... In Africa, not so much, I guess...
