Ode To the Sea

Sea of time
Oh Sea I rhyme
Sitting here upon my log
Drifting here in my own abyss
Sitting here in time’s shallow pool
I ponder the sea’s eternal rule…
Oh Dear Sea,
how much have you seen?
Has the sky always been blue?
Have your brilliant waves
always been so murky and green?
Sea of time; oh Sea I rhyme
