Ode To the Ocean

Neverending majesty stretching to the ends of the Earth.
Waters surround lone bodies
No one is lonely at the sea
How can you be lonely at the end of the world, where the ground gives into the weight of the sky
Waves crashing at the shore create the steady heartbeat of the world
With your moods, the waves unrest
are the answer to your whim.
Beneath the foaming waters,
is a world as yet unknown,
holding trash and treasures,
the resting place of bones,
The map of stories of ages past
etched into sand
and carved with the storms hand
take me away.
