Ode To the Man Above: a Psalm and a Prayer

September ambience descends
Hear the symphony of birds
Someone authored their choruses
And rearranged their notes.

Clumsy crimson clouds
Forming faces like crazy clowns
Faces of you ,the unknown and I
That cry a thousand tears when sad

River ripples rich rhythms
Visitors from below seen at the banks
A salmon overstayed its welcome
Now a happy meal for the eagle.

Blossoms brightly bringing blessings
Sun leaves no trail but the moon
Perfectly swirled in a billion stars
Of vibrant colours that enchants

Sky serenade simply sensual
Yes ! The owl even feels it
Hoots as it flies below the busy grounds
Squirrels run for cover.

I wish on a shooting star as it fades
Streaking across the skies tonight
I'm awed by its sheer beauty
Ah Onyame! Thy works marvels
Thine eyes hast seen it all

Thou O Lord the greatest artist of all
From thy works I draweth inspiration
I pray thee you hear me once more
The most high!
The one who controls this all

I pray to thee for hope
To fuel our burning desire .
I pray thee the land below the dunes
Stay strong thru the wearying times
No more wars no more bloodshed.

I pray thou let we lead again
Thy wish is we develop in freedom!
Let the ignorance blind tumble down in defeat
And the oppressors run in despair
I pray we live in unity nativity and comfort

I pray thee of the highest heavens
Let thy peace reign
And bless the rains in Africa
To thee i solemnly pray
Hear thy Ode Hear thine prayer
