Ode to the Grandkids My gaze, grandkids, you inspire me to write. I love the way you laugh, trust and cherish, Devoting my mind day and through the night, Always dreaming about the excellent garish. Let me compare you to a vital bond lie? You are more feelings, childhood, and promise. Blase drought dries the pleased picnics of July, And summertime has the blighted pomace. How do I love you? Let me count the ways. I love your child of my child's charm, wit, and style. Thinking of your slighted wit fills my days. My love for you is the delighted spile. Now I must away with a squamous heart, Remember my close words while we're apart.

What a sweet sonnet this is dear sotto, saw this on homepage and i had to read and comment as its an old poem by you and i must say it is so touching with seamless lines articulated with touching rhymes: i really love the line “ Let me compare you to a vital bond lie? You are more feelings, childhood, and promise.“ i can feel the unconditional love flowing throughout; pleasure reading this. Definitely a fave

The nobility of sentiments, true unconditional love filling the roots of soul spreading to every single branch! What a great Sonnet! What a beauty of poetry, form and substance! I so much liked what you have spilled of words that rhyme into the reader's soul! Keep shining! My deepest regards and blessings.
