Ode to the Cosmos - Greeting from Earth
Across the void, a fragile signal flies,
A tender hope upon the cosmic breeze,
From verdant Earth, beneath familiar skies,
A sapphire gem amidst the stellar seas.
We whisper tales of rivers, mountains high,
A breathing world, where ancient spirits rise.
We tread a path etched deep in earthly soil,
Where echoes of our fathers softly ring,
A tapestry of triumph and of toil,
Of shadowed deeds, and songs the poets sing.
We stumble, rise, with flaws we can’t disguise,
Yet seek the light, where brighter futures spring.
Though darkness lingers in the human heart,
And shadows tempt with promises untrue,
A wellspring bursts, a chance to make a start,
A kindness blooms, compassion shining through.
We falter, mend, yet faith is not denied,
A gentle touch, where wounded spirits hide.
For beauty lives in brushstroke, note, and line,
In sculpted form, a testament to grace,
A hunger burns, a truth we long define,
A whispered plea for love to light this place.
We seek to know, with science as our dart,
To heal the wounds and play a nobler part.
Upon the cusp, where destiny unfurls,
With hopeful gaze, we stretch beyond the known,
Beyond our shores, where nascent promise swirls,
And seeds of understanding can be sown.
So cast aside the shackles of your doubt,
And seek with us, what future lies about.
From Earth we call, a hand across the void,
To distant kin, in galaxies afar,
Let wisdom dawn, let harmony be enjoyed,
Together reach, beyond the farthest star,
In cosmic waltz, let every heart enhance,
A shared embrace, a future of transcendence.
