Ode To the Bone

Ode to neurosis,
And character flaws,
A solid nod to the weary,
To the detrimental clause.

Ode to a lover,
That keeps out of time,
To the one that's no matter,
To the fire in my mind.

Ode to bad music,
This song should never be sung,
To a beat that's repeating,
To a slip knot never to be hung.

Ode to my pretty bird,
And her indifferent brain,
How big must your brain be,
Hope too small to copy insane.

Ode to this big wave,
It comes down like a huge crash,
The streams connecting the wishes,
That itch hope like a rash.

I sing these odes together,
For they all are one,
A prayer for the many,
Who feel too much alone.
