Ode To the Beach

The breeze Smells of sunscreen And salt The salt Gives the air An interesting flavor That almost tastes like French fries The blue And sandy tones Make an all too familiar Canvas Of a natural beauty That is sometimes Clouded by a brightly colored Beach umbrella The sand Is warm It is like running on hot coals It makes children more eager To get to the vast, Blue, Cooling, Ocean The waves are crashing Into each other The wind is howling in your ear Parents talk about the latest situations Toddlers scream, excited at a crab The ice cream truck And it's bell That comes every two hours Has been seen by you all Of ten times

That ice cream truck must have been annoying; it annoyed me when I read about its bell. Nicely done.
