Ode to Silence

You drown out every noise,
In stillness, we hear your voice.
This is the seeker’s guide,
For those in search of the truth.

You open the door to the light,
We emerge from the recalcitrant night,
To find the treasures we seek
And the pathway to Zion’s gate.

You summon the elements;
They gather together the fragments,
Those pieces veiled in mystery,
Separated by the watchmen.

You dispel every confusion,
Bringing in its proportionate infusion.
There’s a wave of inspiration,
A river of understanding.

You call me,
A traveller on a turbulent sea.
You guide me like a North Star
To a place where turbulence has no sway.
