Ode To November

Ode to November
I find myself a kindred spirit in the leafless trees of November
Solemn and graceful in their silence
Their bare branches like arms reaching toward the sky for that last lingering warmth of the setting sun
Holding themselves strongly against the cold night that comes on much to early
