Ode To My First Love
I don't regret anything that's happened between us
every moment we shared with
laughter, sadness and frustration
Oh how every moment was spent so lovely
I'll have these memories to cherish forever
As they will always be carried with me
I wasn't innocent to believe that this was a forever thing
I was probably the most stubborn person you've met
but you'd shut me up and shower me with kisses reminding me that the end never mattered
Your love taught me a lot
You introduced me to new music, new foods and different perspectives
I'll never forget how you liked your food separated on your plate
because the idea of your food touching drove you insane
you didn't have any OCD problem you were just weird like that
I'll never forget your huge obsession with Pokémon
You drove me so insane with that and I still couldn't quite grasp how to play
Our first date how we conversed for what felt like hours in that pizzeria downtown
That place will always leave a nostalgic feeling
I know I'll have plenty of lovers but you'll always be my first love
My first real heartbreak
You showed me one single person can make you feel
Red, blue,purple and all the other colors at once
I just want to say thank you for the wonderful experience
For it was all worth it
