Ode to Mother
Mothers are the greatest
Mothers are the love,
That children hold the dearest
Mothers overlook the things
That children often do
That’s why Mother, we
Sing this song to you.
We hold you in the deepest
Section of our heart.
And show you, Mother, that we love you
And with you we’d never part
Although we never tell you
Somehow we need for you to know
That the friend we sometimes need,
Is found in you indeed.
Our friendship is one that
Blossoms from a bud
And flourishes into what
A daughter calls a MOM
