Ode to Marie

Oh Marie, How should we remember thee, Now that you are free. There are three things about thee, On which we all agree, That we would have liked more to see, That were unique to thee. At the top of your tree, We place the laughter that came out of thee, That we enjoyed for free, The next branch down has to be, Your talent to draw so much for us to see, That should have earned a better fee, And who will ever forget number three, How you transformed a piece of cloth, into something fit for a queen bee, And never cooked to please the taste buds, of less than three. That is how we will remember thee. (we are interning her ashes in December when immediate family are finally together for the Occasion)
