Ode To Lost Love

Passion and pain
Lust and Love
Intermingling, intertwining
Dancing together till dawn.
Bodies wrapped together moving as one.
Knowing the dance too well.
Knowing the pleasure, the ecstasy, the release of stress and tension.

Holding tight not wanting the moment to end,
Not to fade or dissipate.
Slow movements, making it last longer, dragging it out.
Can't face knowing the pleasure and joy being felt will come to an end.
Knowing it will fade.

Lost in each other, the moment, the feelings.
Lost in trying to hold on.
Knowing you'll lose it all.
The ecstasy, the climax, the breathless anticipation of ******.
Snapping back to reality.
Love's still gone.
Love never was.
