Ella Zacha Poet Ode

Ode To Books

A treasure chest of memories,
caught between the pages,
cart loads of wisdom,
from across the ages,

Fantasy, romance, horror, history,
countless tales shrouded in mystery,

Each one a window to another world,
it doesn't matter if you're a boy or girl,
each one takes you to wonderful places,
full of faeries, magic and aces,

Reading's not hard,
It takes barely a glance,
open your mind,
give books a chance,

The possibilities are endless, just take a look,
choose a tale, and open the book.

Faraz Ajmal June 7, 2019 at 4:41 PM I am sure that every poet is a fan of books so it is not surprising to see you writing about it. A year from now, I completed my 80th novel, I mostly like suspense ones and then came my school, decided to go for literature, whoops it throw me from one place to another, I was just coping with it, then came Shakespeare(Macbeth) and destruction is the right word to describe it, anyways I have recently given my literature exam, hope that I manage to get an A*, good luck and have a really nice day Ella Zacha June 10, 2019 at 3:55 PM Good luck! Reading is the best thing we can teach our children, something that can transport you to another world whist sitting still. I love this poem Ella.
