Ode To An Abby

Ode to an Abby

Be raw
Be ragged on the edge
Edgey if you will
Be the salmon in the sushi on the rice Be the carrorts on the crou-tatay' tray

Be the open in the bottle waiting still
Be the grains in the field waiting for the heat of the mill

Be dangerous
Be the biker on the cycle in the air
Be the shark on the move
Be the wrong size shoe
Be the peppers in the salsa
That’s you

Be the diver in the plane
Be the high rise
The tower in the storm
The sand castle too close to the shore
Be the dieter with his fork in the cake
Be the heart with the break

Be human for goodness sake
