Ode To Alf For Laurie's Sake! = )

Ode to ALF for Laurie's sake
His furry suit awful and fake
Favorite snacks were feline licks
My knee-slap fix in EightySix
His favorite food?  Remember That?
Here's a hint...guard your cat!!


Oh Miss Ginn, Why won't you see?
The best invasion since E.T.
This space muppet show for Trekkie spawn
What if his ship wrecked in your lawn?
You'd coldly turn this ALF away?
  A.K.A Gordon Shumway?
Leave him homeless?  Where's your manners?!
Thank God he wrecked down at the Tanner's

ALF sadly can never ever go back
 To his home in far off Melmack
So here he lives, sippin' space tonic
 Dodging the neighbor, Mrs. Akmanek

Ive not seen this show in twenty some years
But with YouTube the cobwebs diappeared
So here I write ALF a tribute poem
This poor Melmakian without a home


Had to do some homework for this....hope you gotta rise out of it!!

I really did have to go and watch an episode to gather...you really think I picked "Melmack" "Akmanek" and "Gordan Shumway" outta my @$$? =) I would have left it in the air...but that you get so riled up was just too much to resist. F.Y.I....I hate StarTrek and Sci-Fi as a whole with passion..but for your visual--Im rockin spock ears and an Alf t-shirt to the next CONVENTION...not reunion! = ) Much Love!!

After having our pictures in front of his space craft for the Star Magazine he would've met his demise. He looks like a big opossom without the tail. ewww saying it gave me a shiver. lol. I win Stevie,,,,I'm normal,,,,but you still holding so tightly to the illusion that you are is soooo cute. Laurie

It's funny you mentioned Trekkies because oh yeah I really figure your devotion to Alf would probably put you at some sort of big reunion with other ---okay I'm way to nice to say the name,,lol but it was a good one. And land here???
