Ode To Africa

Oh, Africa , the roots of all the races,  The truth is buried and lies shine all over. Oh! Africa, strong old house filling young  women and men. "Look ! looking too old but more active." Oh ! Africa , being portrayed bad on some  media , did not stop you to shine, shining  bright like a diamond. Oh! Africa, miraculous land  admired by millions  of world people. Praise be the God " Thatha Leeza"  Who created you so beautiful , oh ! Africa. O' Africa with many  caves , mounts, lakes , rivers ,  gardens , waterfalls, forests and popular Islands. Oh! Africa, resisted thousands  of challenges, many wars, disasters , diseases. "Rise up , rising Africa , continue to shine , shining  like rubies." Oh , Africa, remind those stood up to destroy you, Speak loud to  the new hypocrites who are coming to destroy you, O Africa. " Whoever digs a pit may fall into it , whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake." How pleasing you are , O Africa, with your delights! Blessed is you , O Africa. Praise be the God who created You beautifully , Oh! Africa. March 06/2023 Written for poetry contest sponsored by Jeff Keyzer
