Ode To 911 Heroes In 2001

Nine eleven heroes on a plane one day
Took Frodo's advice, and gave their lives away
In a selfless act, known to only a few,
They gave their bodies up, and became angels anew

When heroes step up and run in and save others,
They are showing their best, integrity taught by their mothers.
Their fathers can have some credit if credit is due.
Frodo's advice is sound, every day for me and for you.

What you give up, may be flesh and skin
But we are in a spiritual war, this world we are in.
To give up your life for the life of another,
This is truly the advice Frodo gave Sam, his spiritual brother.
