Oddly Appealing
Romance and the richness of pain pose on the horizon before myself as a young
girl
Become embedded in my own discourse; I seek them and reject them, I cannot
Know them.
They are intangible
Rarely felt in the everyday
Inevitable aching and fear occupy my life of romance
I run, I climb, I walk faster then stand still
Romance is real, encouraged, glorified, exploited
Longed to be felt in the everyday
