Octopus

Octopus Ink flows from the pen when sorrow grips hold squeezes through tight places of suffering Ejected dejected the fountain squirts Kraken’s wisdom mimics camouflages inner power with tantamount tentacles waits to fuse and defuse Four pairs of arms guarding noble truths of impermanent suffering scripted on paper Freedom arrives when attachment ceases thus when I attempted to touch the octopus submerged under water a solution ensued Too close I tried to retain the moment in what only floats in the flow of fleeting consciousness An eightfold path awaits once sentient beings are respected unharmed and when wove paper nib and the scribe mercifully merge into one 17th February 2017

Kai, this is profound and I love the way you related the ink of our pen to the octopus! Keep up your magic quill!

Thank you Andrea. I watched an octopus under water in Malta once...and then there was ink. Take care, Kai
