I think it's time that idea should be revived
My name is October, and I'm coming your way
I'm offering golden beauty and a little advise
If it's politics, you might call me 'The finisher'
That is, I give you 31 days to do or not to do
If it's finance, show me the books on day one
That is, you really should not run such high deficits
If it's finance, I can't change your habits in 31 days
That is, balance the books or borrow the funds
If it's labor, you've done your best; be grateful
That is, I'm your window to gather the harvest
If it's weather, I'm your 'Prep and staging advisor'
That is, be prepared for cold, freeze, rain, and snow
If it's religion, God is found through love, not conflict
That is, have real fun; be grateful; learn to be merry
