October Ready

Hot pumpkin bread
Fresh from oven
Warms October

Spicy apple cider
Too sweet but still
Appreciated, in this cold

Orange candle, lit 
Flickering, brings in warmth
October ready

Football bets,
On a computer,
game to play

tailgating
with strangers
norm

homecoming
corsages, colors
rehashes memories

bonfire, 
yells and shouts
October!
