October Clause

It's only October but I'm in despair So I'm writing to old St Nick My feet are up no care for my hair In bedroom feeling quite sea sick I know I'm very blessed today Even if it's normal pink pain Years roll on like a test of faith I STILL bleed like I'm cutting vein. I have to ask dear Santa Clause To deliver me one thing early Take me into menopause I will showcase a smile so pearly. No more super bad headaches No more needs for tampon, pad No more favorite things ruined, great No more making him a dad.

Dear Karen - please don't ever feel your 'silly trials' are not of value to us on here (ref your reply below x).. poetry is fantasy some of the time, but reality too is important. I (and am sure we..) respect your honesty and vulnerability in sharing and wish you October-blessing :)

Karen, your poem about what's REAL for you right now is descriptive and realistic. I went through that twenty years ago. I'm 71 now.

Hugs Janice. My mom is 74 and she said basically it's just "growing pains" and a part of ageing. So I guess I need to buckle up buttercup. Lol

Dear Karen, my heart bleeds when I read you're in pain. And I'm afraid menopause brings other problems too. Be strong and consult your specialist (not that I have much faith in them. They have not cured me yet.) Hugs and blessings.

Hugs Victor. You need a cure? I was unaware beloved. Hoping praying you get one soon for whatever ails you. I think the nausea is more of a nuisance for me and the fever than the pain. It shall pass. I write too much about my silly trials when bigger issues such as war or cancer are on other's life pages. Praying for you. Blessings and heart felt hugs

I hear Old Nicholas is open to early deliveries this year, as the workload is going to be lighter, what with all the fertility rate dropping drastically over half of the world... Fewer deliveries on X-mas Day...
