October Bliss

frosty crunch to grass
potpourri warming noon sun
wide eyed angel-blue skies

pumpkins' glowing grins
kisses in tall cornfield maze
haunted house echoes with screams

Faye, you captured many aspects of October with your sedoka. I especially liked the image of the kisses in the cornfield maze and the wide eyed angel blue skies. My syllable counter puts that line at six syllables, not seven. But if you were using Soup's counter, you were ok and so I went by that. Congrats on your win in my contest.

Beautifully written Faye! October is my favorite month...this and early November as my three children were born two days apart in the first week of November. We usually celebrate them together with my kids flying in to visit. I look forward to it every year.
