October

I dream of a month
simply to remember an era
a moment perhaps
tearful goodbyes 
pleasant beginnings
I challenge myself to remain nonchalant
A close memory lingers
as the tenth draws near
I envision a whisper in the Father's ear 
probing Him to give me that chance now
Smiling widely
I moved to the front
View my future
I step....
