October

october promise
leaves of gold, rust and maroon
crunch beneath my feet

october whispers
breathless in the chilly air
of autumn’s swift kiss

october memoirs
touch upon the sky so blue
with wings going south

october assures
reflections of lovely hopes
for frosty mornings
