Oceans of the Blue

The oceans of the world my dear,
Are filled with lovers' salty tears;
For when they are so far apart,
More tears flow from all loving hearts.

Yet all tears aren't from lonely hearts,
Some are of joy they do impart;
They flow from me, they flow from you,
They flow into the oceans blue.

And as they flow onto the deep,
They give the whales their song so sweet;
They sing of love, they sing the blues,
They fill us with great joy in tune.

And as the whales sound in the deep,
Their song does echo in relief;
To place the love found in our hearts,
And give us strength while we're apart.
