Oceans Can'T Separate - Collaboration With Darren White

We smile at each other
In mutual understanding
Achieved complicity: 
Friendship older than time. 
Where comfort of silence 
Speaks louder
Than "I'm okay" pretense
Where teasing and crying
Are equal ingredients
Though continents divide,
Oceans cannot separate.
Our togetherness:
Always, any time,
Any circumstance,
A given...
A present...
A certainty...
That we are here
For each other
Nights are warmer
Days are brighter 
Laughs are louder
In the embrace of friendship.
