Ocean Play
I skip my feet across the waves curling crest
To lift off into the hidden starry heights
Unencumbered by cares
I contemplate the suns brilliance
to moons gentle glow
Climbing on wings of cirrus clouds
I float serenely in silent revere
When a little sprite taps me in a playful invite
And our game begins. We run atop the ocean
Splashing the sky with sea spray
Water droplets rain down before the suns’ smile
Forming rainbow slides. We invite angels
to come and play. Their heavenly mist
forms above whales in spouts of gleeful joy
Silly laughter ringing church bells
