Ocean of Emotions

On this great big ocean
There is plenty of room for hope
Sitting on the shoreline
She has bottled hers up to float

One by one they vanish
As the waves push them away
She sits and waits so patiently
For even one single response

But the ocean has no secrets
It's only filled with bitter dreams
That's why it is so salty you know
From the millions of tears it's seen

Incredibly poignant. I had to read this slowly a few times to really soak this in. Excellent!
